  • Professional Information (Specialists): Resumes, CVs, employment history, educational background, professional certifications, areas of industry expertise (e.g., semiconductor supply chains, artificial intelligence), and consultancy rates.

  • Financial Information: Bank account details, payment card information, and tax identification numbers required for processing client payments and issuing Specialist disbursements.

  • Service & Engagement Data: Records of Consultation requests, project scopes, matching preferences, scheduling data, and records of hours utilized under Prepaid Subscription Packages.

3. How We Use Your Information

We utilize the collected information strictly for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Service Delivery: Matching Clients with the appropriate Specialists based on specific industry inquiries and project requirements.

  • Financial Processing: Managing billing, invoicing, tracking Subscription Hours, and remitting payments to Specialists.

  • Compliance & Verification: Performing background checks, verifying professional credentials, and enforcing our Insider Trading Policies to prevent the misuse of material nonpublic information (MNPI).

  • Communication: Sending administrative notices, Service Order updates, and engagement confirmations.

4. How We Share Your Information

Meridian Consulting handles your data with strict confidentiality. We do not sell personal information to third parties. Information is only shared under the following circumstances:

  • Between Clients and Specialists: We share limited Specialist professional profiles with prospective Clients to facilitate engagement selection. Conversely, Client project parameters are shared with Specialists to determine their suitability and availability for a Consultation.

  • Service Providers: We may share necessary data with trusted third-party vendors who provide essential infrastructure, such as secure cloud storage, payment processing, and accounting software. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

  • Legal Obligations: We may disclose your data if legally required to do so by court order, subpoena, or governmental regulation in applicable jurisdictions.

5. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Meridian Consulting operates globally, with core business operations spanning Taiwan and the United States. Accordingly, your personal and professional data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in jurisdictions outside of your country of residence. We implement legally recognized safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses and robust encryption, to ensure your data remains protected to the highest standard regardless of where it is processed.
